Gîte Holiday Raffle

Ian Gawn (former secretary of the Royal Lymington Yacht Club) and his wife Jane have recently moved out to France and, having been involved with the SSC 24 hour sail for many years, have made the extraordinarily kind gift of raffling off a week's stay in one of their self-catering cottages in the heart of a little known wine producing region called the Vendee. (Travel not included).

Ian and Jane's offer is for 1 week in May, June, September or October 2009, including half term weeks, for the garden/pool gîte (to the right in the picture). Travel is not included in the offer.

The gîte has one double room, one twin bedded room (cot available), a bathroom (shower, not bath), a combined kitchen/sitting/dining room with woodburner, a fridge, gas cooker and all linen provided.

There is also a BBQ and shared use of a small outdoor pool. Bikes are available for the extensive range of Vendee cycle tracks, as are lifts to and from the village restaurant/bar. Babysitting can also be provided.

Tickets will be on sale at events throughout the year, and during the 24 hour sail, and the draw will be made on Saturday 15th November, towards the end of the event. Tickets are priced at £1 each and £5 for a strip.
