We just wanted to say the HUGEST of huge thank you's to everyone that helped, supported and took part in the Salterns 10th 24 hour sail for BBC Children in Need - it was a fantastic event - one of the best days of my life, and to everybody that contributed to that I just can't thank you enough.

More important even than everyone having a massive amount of fun is the amount of money that we raised together for children that haven't had the same opportunities as we have - if all the money pledged comes in then we should be set for £13,000 - absolutely incredible, more than I ever dreamed of!!!

Salterns did it!!!

It just shows that all you need is to have an ambitious target, a lot of determination and the best team in the world. Even better than that, some great friends.

Human spirit was well evident at Salterns today and the chances are that we really have made a difference to someone's life, which makes it all so worthwhile.
